Birth Doula Services

Birth Doula Support + Photography

Complimentary Discovery Call - virtual

In our initial virtual meeting, which lasts about half an hour, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your desires for birth, and explore how my birth doula support can best serve your needs. We'll also touch on postpartum support and the importance of prenatal visits to determine if we’re a good fit for one another.

2 prenatal home visits to prepare for birth (1 virtual + 1 in-person)

These prenatal visits can last 1-3 hours and involve discussing your birth history, your desires and feelings regarding your current birth, as well as any potential fears or blockages to address. We will review your birth plan, explore the labor and delivery process, and discuss positions and exercises that may be beneficial during pregnancy or labor. Additionally, we'll prepare for infant feeding and the postpartum period, focusing on how best I can provide birth doula support before, during, and after labor. Prayer is always offered.

Birth plan preparation

A birth plan is a clear and concise statement of your desires and preferences about your birth, which is essential for ensuring the best birth doula support on your big day. This plan provides important details to those responsible for your care, including during prenatal visits. Additionally, I include informational handouts in your client handbook and provide faith declaration and scripture cards to meditate on throughout your journey

Support via email/text/phone throughout pregnancy + postpartum

You'll receive constant support whether you have questions about pregnancy, need assistance with babies, or simply want someone to talk to. As your doula, I'm here to provide guidance throughout the entire antenatal period. Even if you have a question about toddlers two years down the line, I'm still here for you!

On-call, 24 hour support from 38 weeks til the birth

I will have my ringer on 24/7 once you hit 38 weeks, so when labor begins, I can meet you at home or the hospital for birth doula support.

Uninterrupted physical and emotional support throughout labor and delivery

The mother will never be left alone during labor and delivery, as continuous birth doula support ensures she has assistance unless otherwise requested.

Photography/videography of birth

Photos and videos of birth are always provided as part of our birth doula support unless the client requests otherwise.

Up to 2 hours initial postpartum support

Providing immediate postpartum support to help mom transition to new motherhood, while also offering infant feeding support if needed.

1 postpartum home visit + postpartum meal

The postpartum visit, often regarded as an essential part of postpartum support, is typically scheduled 1-4 weeks after the birth and lasts 1-2 hours. This visit can include a homemade meal and may involve feeding support, infant care support, and a discussion about the birth experience, along with addressing any other needs you might have.
