Christian Birth Doula Services by Hannah Lordi

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm a certified Christian birth doula proudly serving families in the NW Georgia and metro Atlanta area, up to a 1.5 hour radius from Calhoun. As a loving mother of three babies born at home, a wife, and a devoted follower of Christ, my journey in birth work began in 2018 while I was working as a Licensed Massage Therapist. My special interest in pre-natal therapy initially led me to consider a career in midwifery. After welcoming my first child in 2022, I experienced a profound transformation, moving from New Age beliefs into the grace of my Savior. Shortly thereafter, God called me to advocate for pro-life causes and to support women as a birth doula. This calling inspired the creation of In His Hands Doula Services, a 501-C3 non-profit doula business, where partial proceeds go to assist abortion-vulnerable mothers.  

I believe that birth is a natural, physiological process, and when a woman feels supported during labor, it can lead to a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, there is often a lack of support in the traditional health care system that is disheartening to witness. Evidence shows that births attended by doulas tend to result in fewer interventions and better outcomes for both mother and baby compared to those without doula support. 

I not only offer an evidence-based approach to birth but also bring a calm, prayerful presence, guiding my clients through their pregnancy and unmedicated delivery journeys with peace. It would be a true honor to be part of such a precious and pivotal moment in your life! 

Currently, I support moms choosing a planned midwife-assisted home birth in the greater Atlanta area, as well as those opting for hospital births at various Atlanta area hospitals, including Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Advent Health Gordon, Piedmont Atlanta, Piedmont Cartersville, Northside Cherokee, Wellstar Kennestone, Wellstar North Fulton, Northside Atlanta, and Northside Forsyth.
