Meet the doula

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm a certified birth doula serving families in the NW Georgia area (up to 1.5 hour travel radius from Cartersville) . I am a mother of 2, a wife, a home-baker, wanna-be-homesteader and most important of all a servant of Christ. 

After having an initial interest in midwifery and home-birthing back in 2018, while working as a Licensed Massage Therapist,  I had 2 home births of my own. Though my previous interest in birth work had taken the backseat due to life taking me on a different path, God's timing is always perfect. 

In His Hands Doula Services was birthed in 2023 after the Lord told me become a doula - more specifically, to walk alongside women who have little to no support and are experiencing unplanned pregnancies. My own first pregnancy with my son was unplanned, but God blessed me abundantly for saying YES to life, and now in return I get to help other moms in the same position.

I believe that birth is a natural, physiological process, and that if a woman feels supported during labor, then it can be an empowering experience for her. Births attended by doulas often end up with less interventions and better outcomes for the mother and baby than without the support of one.

My job is to be a supporter, an educator, an encourager, a confidante, and a friend- and I would be honored to be a part of such a precious and pivotal moment in your life.
