Meet the doula

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm a certified Christian birth doula serving families in the NW Georgia and metro Atlanta area (up to a 1.5  hour radius from Calhoun). I am a loving mother of 3 babies born at home, a wife, and a devoted follower of Christ. 

My interest in birth work began in 2018 while I was working as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I had a special interest in pre-natal therapy and had plans to pursue a career in the birth world. After having a redeeming home birth with my first child in 2022, I was saved out of New Age and into the hands of my Savior. God called me shortly after into advocating for pro-life causes and supporting women as a birth doula. In His Hands Doula Services was born!

I believe that birth is a natural, physiological process, and that if a woman feels supported during labor, then it can be a supernatural experience for her. There is a lack of support in the traditional health care system that is truly saddening to witness. Births attended by doulas often end up with less interventions and better outcomes for the mother and baby than without the support of one.

I not only bring an evidence-based approach to birth, but bring a prayerful presence and teach my clients how to walk their pregnancy and birth journey in victory. My methods as a doula are rooted in standing on authority as a believer and trusting the covenant promises of God in every area of life - including the pregnancy and birth journey. I would be honored to be a part of such a precious and pivotal moment in your life.
